Active oxygen
Active oxygen can be used as an alternative to chlorine for water disinfection and for clear water. Active oxygen does not irritate eyes, skin or mucous membranes and has no chlorine odor. Switching from chlorine to active oxygen is possible at any time without any problems.
The use of active oxygen
As with all chemical water care products, always ensure the correct pH value in the first step, which must always be in the range between 7.0 and 7.4. Oxygen granules can be used to quickly disinfect the pool water, just like chlorine. In an aqueous solution, i.e. in the pool water, the granules cause the active oxygen to be split off, which kills germs and organic substances. Aqua correct are products manufactured by Steinbach for optimal water treatment and are characterised by their tested quality.
The great advantage of active oxygen is that it does not cause irritation to eyes, skin and mucous membranes and has no chlorine smell.
It is possible to switch from chlorine to active oxygen at any time and can be used both for initial dosing for rapid disinfection and for continuous dosing. The so-called oxygen activator liquid increases the disinfection effect of the oxygen granulate. The oxygen activator additionally protects against algae growth and can thus also be used when algae growth begins.
The oxygen activator can also be used for initial dosing for rapid disinfection as well as for continuous dosing.
